Which coins can I pay with?
Any token on any of our 14 networks — stablecoins, major coins and memecoins. If it lives on a supported network, we can use it, and newly launched tokens are recognised automatically. Which ones you can pay with depends on which chain your wallet is on.
What is a "network" and do I need to understand it?
A network is just the blockchain your coin lives on. The same coin name can exist on several of them, which is where most beginners get stuck. You do not have to work this out. When you connect, we read which network your wallet is on and match it for you.
Does the card work differently depending on which coin I pay with?
No. The card, its features and the delivery are exactly the same. The coin you choose only decides what leaves your wallet.
What if I pick the wrong network by mistake?
You are unlikely to. We only show you coins your connected wallet can actually pay with, so the wrong options are never on screen. Still, crypto transfers cannot be reversed, so check the payment screen matches what you expect before you approve it.
What is the difference between virtual and physical cards?
A virtual card is delivered instantly and works for online purchases, subscriptions, and any merchant that accepts card-not-present payments. A physical card is shipped to your address and works in-store anywhere cards are accepted, plus ATMs.
How long does a physical card take to arrive?
Physical cards typically ship within 1 to 2 business days and arrive within 5 to 10 business days depending on your location.
Which wallets are supported?
Hundreds of them, across all 14 networks. That includes MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Rabby, OKX Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Rainbow, Zerion, Exodus, imToken, SafePal, TokenPocket, Uniswap Wallet, Ledger Live, Phantom, Solflare, TronLink and any other injected browser or mobile wallet. WalletConnect covers 300 or more additional wallets, so if you already have a wallet on a supported network it will almost certainly work.
Does Nexo Card hold my crypto?
No. Connecting a wallet does not hand us your coins. Every payment is a separate transaction that you read and approve inside your own wallet, and you can disconnect any time.
What information is processed when I connect a wallet?
A wallet connection reveals the public wallet address you approve, along with public blockchain transaction data on that chain. We never access your private key or recovery phrase, and no personal information is collected at the moment of connection. If you later request a card, we collect the identity details described in our Privacy Policy.
